Welcome to the home page of
First Assembly of God El Reno Oklahoma!
Life is complicated. Maybe you’ve experienced a “disconnect” between church and life. You came to church looking to fit the pieces
of your life together better through faith and left wondering how relevant your experience was.
FIRST ASSEMBLY is a growing church family.
We’ve asked hard questions about church and been given a vision for something new and relevant.
FIRST ASSEMBLY is a community of real people committed to following Jesus, to growing together and to experiencing life in a new way.
At First Assembly you will experience:
* Uplifting Music
* Messages of Faith and Hope
* Activities for the Whole Family
This is your invitation to make FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD your church home, if you are not already an active participant in a Bible-believing church.
We would be honored to have the opportunity to get to know you better!

Read 2 Corinthians 5:1 through 9:15
Jeanne had given her two-year-old granddaughter money for the offering at church. Julia clutched the money tightly in her hand as she watched the usher coming toward her with the offering plate. Unhappily, she dropped her offering into the plate. Then she commented loudly: “People, I want my money back!”
We understand why a two-year-old might not want to be separated from her money, but do Christian adults sometimes react in a similar manner? Do they want to hold onto their money and return only a small portion to the God who blesses them abundantly?
Paul said believers should give this way:
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).
We have two choices concerning our finances. We can clutch our money tightly and, like Julia, give with a grudging heart, or we can open our purse or wallet and be cheerful givers.
Challenge for Today: Will you give freely and cheerfully of the money God has given?
Quicklook: 2 Corinthians 9:6–10
